Admitted to practice in 1999, Charmaine brings a breadth and depth of experience to her role at Condon Charles. Charmaine worked as a sentencing Prosecutor at the DPP. She has also worked as a Principal Lawyer in a range of regional centres in South East Queensland, focussing on Family Law Criminal Law and access to justice.
Charmaine’s experience is in criminal matters, family law, domestic violence, traffic matters, child protection and general litigation. She is experienced in civil litigation, administrative reviews and professional disciplinary matters and was a divisional Registrar at the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal. She has also worked as an Official Visitor at prisons in South East Queensland, reporting to the office of the Chief Inspector.
She is a polished advocate, having appeared in a broad range of matters in the Magistrates, District, Supreme and Family Courts. She is able to work with clients to achieve desired outcomes, keeping client’s informed as their case progresses. She is a good communicator who advises clients clearly and sensitively of options and pathways to resolve their unique legal issues. She’s excited to have joined the team at Condon Charles.
